What you may be feeling

You might not be able to point to one thing that's wrong.

It's more like a quiet sense of repetition.

The same feelings coming up in different relationships. The same doubts, even when things are going well. A version of yourself you keep running into that you thought you'd have figured out by now.

You're not here because you're falling apart. You're here because you've started to notice. And noticing, it turns out, is the beginning of something.

You may be struggling with
  • Repeating the same relationship patterns, even when you can see them happening
  • Overthinking relationships, fearing rejection or abandonment
  • Anxiety that keeps you emotionally on edge
  • A harsh inner critic and constant self-doubt
  • People-pleasing, and difficulty knowing what you truly want
  • Feeling emotionally dependent in relationships
  • Childhood wounds that still affect the way you relate to others
  • Relationships that feel intense but never fully safe
  • Feeling disconnected from yourself beneath the roles you play
  • Self-worth tied to achievement, validation, or being needed
A turn
If you've started to notice the pattern, you've already begun the work.

Depth-oriented therapy doesn't manage symptoms. It traces them back to where they began — and helps you relate to yourself differently from there. When the roots shift, the relationships shift too.

Meet the therapist

Beatriz Hechavarria.

I work with people who are curious about themselves. Not just what they do, but why. The work is unhurried, trauma-informed, and honest. We move at a pace that feels safe. But we do move.

The approach

Attachment-oriented and psychodynamic. We don't just manage symptoms. We trace where they come from. The goal isn't quick fixes; it's genuine self-understanding. When you understand where a pattern came from, you can begin to relate to yourself differently. That's where lasting change starts.

Background

Before private practice, I worked with adults navigating addiction recovery and with children in the foster care system. Those years deepened my understanding of trauma, attachment, identity, and emotional resilience. That background shapes how I sit with clients today.

Who I work with

Adults navigating anxiety, self-worth struggles, relationship difficulties, and recurring emotional patterns that often trace back to earlier relational wounds. My clients usually aren't in crisis. They've started to notice a pattern, and they're ready to look at it.

Haus.Home, in German.

My grandmother's name was Vera. Together, the two words point to what the work is really about: finding your way back to yourself, with the honesty to look at what you find there.

What I believe

Real change rarely begins with effort. It begins with understanding. When self-understanding deepens, self-trust grows — and so do the relationships around it.

The curious paradox is that when I accept myself as I am, then I can change.Carl Rogers

How this works

Depth work unfolds carefully.
Starting is simple.

Three steps. The first one is a conversation, not a commitment. The rest move at the pace that feels right for you.

1

A free 15-minute conversation

No paperwork, no pressure. Just enough time to get a sense of each other, and to see whether this feels like the right fit.

Step one · This week
2

We begin by understanding, together

Early sessions slow down enough to really see your patterns: where they show up now, and where they first took shape. We won't rush toward answers. But we will move toward them.

Step two · First few sessions
3

As understanding deepens, things begin to shift

When you understand the root, the relationship changes too. Self-trust grows. Old patterns lose their grip, not because you forced them to, but because you no longer need them in the same way.
